How to add an M3U playlist

An M3U link is a playlist file your provider sends you. Adding it to RODX takes a minute on any device.

What does an M3U link look like?

A link that starts with http or https and usually ends in .m3u or .m3u8, or contains get.php?username=…&type=m3u. Copy it whole, exactly as you received it.

On phone and iPad

Open RODX, choose M3U URL on the sign-in screen, paste the link and press Sign in. Channels appear in their groups within seconds.

On a TV

Choose Sign in from phone, scan the code with your phone camera, then paste the link on the page that opens on the phone. No typing with the remote.

Refreshing the playlist

The app reloads the link at every start, so the playlist stays current from your provider. You can also reload it manually from Settings.

Common problems

“Invalid link”: make sure it was copied whole with no spaces. “Empty playlist”: the link has expired or the provider limits devices. “No programme guide”: the guide with M3U depends on the provider; an Xtream Codes account loads it automatically, and here is the difference.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add more than one playlist?

You sign in with one playlist at a time; switch by signing out and in with the other link.

Does it support local M3U files?

Use an online link from your provider; that is the one that stays updated.
